AAFC TRAINING LEVELS & SUBJECTS

As a cadet you will undertake training at various levels and in different subjects. Each level is designed to further your knowledge in each subject as you advance during your training. Your training will consist of a mix of classroom based lectures and practical training sessions where you will be able to get hands on experience. And yes there are exams at the conclusion of each subject, however; if you take notes and listen most will find that there is nothing to worry about and they are all multiple choice based.

The Staff and Cadet NCO's are all available to help and guide you throughout each subject and for those who may have a learning difficulty there are mechanisms in place to assist you.

Currently there are five levels of training you will undertake during your cadet career. These are:

  • Recruit
  • Basic
  • Proficiency
  • Advanced, &
  • Qualified
